It’s important to me to live responsibly and to take purposeful action.

Hometown: Born and raised in Orange County, CA. Currently living in Aliso Viejo, a suburb an hour south of Los Angeles.

About Me: I am a wife and mom who takes joy in spending my Saturdays at the soccer field watching my daughter do what she loves. I’m fueled by coffee and music, passionate about being an active parent and school volunteer, and I live for a good laugh. I never knew when I first started blogging that I’d meet an incredible friend and business partner who eventually would convince me to make YouTube videos! I cherish the little things in life: Netflix, sunny afternoons and good health.

Favorite Spring ’17 Aventura pieces you are looking forward to trying: Quite a few but especially the Nikki Tank, the Maren Hoodie, The Sawyer Pant, and the Taryn Dress!

Favorite Blog: New favorite I’ve just recently stumbled on called Love, Emoem – an inspirational blog for modern moms.

Favorite Instagrammer or Pinner: @designsponge on Instagram. I just adore the overall feel and look of her feed, gorgeous.

Singing in the car or singing in the shower: In the car! I’m hardly awake in the shower!

Person that inspires you: I’m truly inspired by my friend and business partner, Megan. She’s so incredibly smart, in tune with what’s happening and stands up for what she believes. She always has the right words. She’s a terrific mom and always puts family first. She knows when I need a kick in the pants and she makes me want to be a better person.

Favorite Book: Anywhere But Here by Mona Simpson

What are you listening to right now? I am a podcast junkie! I listen to podcasts about everything from lifestyle, political, pop culture, marriage and more. My current never-miss favorite is My Favorite Murder which feeds my interest in true crime mixed with comedy.

Favorite movie of all time: Never Been Kissed with Drew Barrymore

Best piece of advice you ever received? A saying my Grandmother used to tell me: “When a task is once begun, never leave it ‘till it’s done. Be the labor, great or small, do it well or not at all.”

What’s the most amazing experience you’ve had in your life (besides having babies and getting married)? I don’t want to call it amazing because it wasn’t but it was an experience that has left such an imprint and has forever changed how I look at and live life. And that is being a cancer survivor.

Funny tidbit not everyone knows about you…but will now! I once visited the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum – to check out a book. Yeah, you can’t do that there.

What does #aventuralife mean to you? How do you live it? It’s important to me to live responsibly and to take purposeful action. These are the way, for me, to finding happiness and joy in a chaotic world. I believe #aventurelife also encompasses these same characteristics.
