a.k.a. JEK – yeah my initials! I am sure a number of other slang words to describe the Boss Man.
 
Department: Co-Owner and President
 
Years at Aventura: Full time since 1988 and President since 1991
 
At work I: Small company so we all wear many hats, “jack of all trades and master of none".
 
When I’m not working I’m: Trying to keep up with my son and daughter, 19 and 20 year old collegiate student/athletes. Lots of road trips with wife of 22 years Christi, 3-4 day weekends to “get out of dodge” and support our kids.

On the path to environmental sustainability I like to: Ride my handcycle to work 50+ times a year, but mostly for the endorphin fix. Practice the 3R’s at home as much as possible – Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.

The one movie I could watch over and over:Sea Biscuit, Armageddon, Top-Gun, Days of Thunder, Sahara… sorry I guess I can’t count nor follow basic rules.

Most interesting place I’ve been: Sailing from Hawaii to San Francisco at age 14… 19 days of adventure and excitement

Music worth downloading: 90’s Santana, Eagles, Dave Matthews… 80’s Freddy Jackson, Lionel Richie… Or 70’s Niel Diamond, England Dan & John Ford Coley… with a 19 and 20 year old I hear it all… the oldies are all coming back!
